'''The Star in the Sinking Swamp''' is the hidden third mission of the [[Boo Moon Galaxy]] in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. This mission takes place in the [[Silver Stars Pop-Up]] mission.

==Mission==
The player has to redo the first mission up until they reach the [[Launch Star]] at the end of the [[Boo Moon Galaxy#Sinking Swamp|Sinking Swamp]]. Instead of taking the Launch Star, the player should continue following the [[Snake Block]], which will dive under the swamp, but will resurface shortly after. Following along a smaller and faster moving Snake Block and avoiding the [[Octoboo]]s, the player can reach the [[Power Star]] at the end.
