In ''Returns'' and ''Tropical Freeze'', Diddy's Barrel Jet was even redesigned, and Rocketbarrel Boost ability did not return (instead he hovers in midair for a few seconds). Basically, the Rocketbarrel Boost was only used in ''Donkey Kong 64'' and in the ''Super Smash Bros.'' series, and two inspired moves respectively appeared in ''Mario Hoops 3-on-3'' and ''Mario Power Tennis''.
