::They aren't in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. You might be confusing them with the block inside Peach's Castle that gives you Hint Movies. 13:53, 1 April 2016 (EDT)
When we go in the warp pipes of yoshis house, we can see 8 bit sprites and yellow blocks with a black round which in smw they are blue with orange rounds. --78.248.232.59 13:58, 1 April 2016 (EDT)
:Ah, well, you're playing Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, which is a popular mod for this game. Yeah, it does have a block on its own which does give you messages, but it's likely modified from the original block. Either way, we don't cover unsanctioned mods in this wiki mainly because there would be likely nearly infinite ways to cover them all. 14:10, 1 April 2016 (EDT)

Apparently, they are not mentioned in the Shogakukan guide. Also, the internal filename and appearance seem to refer more to the umbrella rather than the Message Block, given its internal filename being "Kassar Brock". Besides the function, is there any other proof that these are Message Blocks, or they can have their own article? -- 07:55, 21 February 2019 (EST)
:Yes, that's what I was thinking, but there might not be enough information on that, so I'm saying no. 15:33, October 10, 2020 (EDT)
::I'm not sure, since we also detail the Super Mario World message blocks which look nothing like the Yoshi counterpart. 15:35, October 10, 2020 (EDT)
:::Yeah, but the SMW ones are called the same thing and have the same use. 15:42, October 10, 2020 (EDT)
