On the page's summary I'm unable to detail the full meet criteria for glowing rabbits so I need to make it clear here: glowing rabbits will indeed start appearing once the player has 50 Power Stars but it's also necessary that each character has caught all their respective rabbits first. When a character has caught all of his rabbits, then, one of those seven rabbits will have some chances of being a glowing one, if at least one is missing (that means the character hasn't catch it and retrieve its key) none of the rest will have chances to be a glowing one. This doesn't affect the other characters, if Mario has caught all of his rabbits whereas Luigi hasn't, only Mario's pink rabbits will become glowing ones and none of Luigi's green rabbits will ever turn glowing just because he is missing some. I discover this criteria by accident because I attempted to catch two glowing rabbits with each of the four characters, with Yoshi, Mario and Wario, I was able to get at least one glowing rabbit each (because I caught all of their rabbits: yellow, pink and orange) but no matter how many times I tried, a glowing rabbit never appeared for Luigi even once just because I didn't catch the green rabbit on the roof. Normally, a glowing rabbit will sometimes (not always) spawn once you get a Power Star, die in a level or quit it, I did that countless of times with Luigi but the six green rabbits I caught with him always remained that color. To finally prove it, I made another playthrough, this time making sure I get to the roof early with Luigi and catch the rabbit there, and guess what finally happened once I got all of Luigi's rabbits? After many tries, a glowing rabbit finally appeared for him. I'm not coming up with this, I really experienced this, but perhaps there's margin for error and a glowing rabbit can actually appear (at very low chances, though) even if you haven't caught all the respective rabbits, and my case was exceptional and I was really unlucky, but I don't think that's the case. --BYLLANT 17:20, August 11, 2020 (EDT)

:I'm 70% sure I've caught one with Luigi, and I've never glitched to the roof. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:24, August 11, 2020 (EDT)

::With Luigi its relatively easy to reach the roof early, this video taught me. As I mentioned, I grinded to get glowing rabbits with every character: I got Stars, I committed suicide, I quitted levels and after doing that, I checked every rabbits I already caught with every character and only Yoshi, Mario and Wario got glowing rabbits but inexplicably Luigi never did. The only way to corroborate this is for someone to do the same and attempt to get a glowing rabbit with him without catching the rest of the rabbits. --BYLLANT 17:37, August 11, 2020 (EDT)
Star requirement
This page says only 40 stars are needed to get them to spawn, but the game's main article, Super Mario 64 DS, says 50 are needed. Which one is wrong? Espyo (talk) 18:13, September 5, 2021 (EDT)
