| Garlic has a strong connection with Wario in the extended ''Mario'' franchise; the first game in this franchise to contain garlic as a usable item (or, possibly, at all) even kickstarted this connection. Over time, I've used this as a basis for covering every instance of garlic appearing in a Wario-related context, including less gameplay-relevant instances, such as Wario eating garlic in a ''Battle League'' cutscene, or the windows in Ninja Hideaway being in the shape of garlic. However, I realise this kind of bid is borderline "[[MarioWiki:Generic subjects|generic subject]]" territory, if it's not already fully within it.
