Similar to [[Metal Mario]] (there is [[Metal Mario|the form]] and [[Metal Mario|the character]], I think Dry Bowser is a form and a character : in New Super Mario Bros., it is shown that Bowser becomes Dry Bowser. However, in Mario Kart Wii, Bowser and Dry Bowser are two distinct characters who can be seen together.
