| According to Donkey Kong Country (1), the correct plural form for croctopus is croctopus; the plural is the same as the singular. This is shown when Funky's challenge is to catch fifteen ''croctupus''(Funky's fishing, which is only in Game Boy versions of DKC) in the Monkey Mines area.
