'''Table Tennis - Singles''' is an [[Event]] that appears exclusively in the [[Wii]] version of ''[[Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Wii)|Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games]]''. The objective of the event is to get the most points and get a set amount of points. This can be 5, 9, 11, or 15, depending on what the player chooses before starting. The player can also set the best out of number game(s) to either 1 or 3 here too. The event takes place in ExCeL London.

During [[London Party]] mode, when the player faces off [[Dry Bones]] for the first time, they compete in this sport.

==Gameplay==
The event starts out with a chart of who the player is playing against, as well as another two competing. This chart is shown again after winning the first round (but not if it was lost) except with the winner of the other two in the center. The announcer then announces the players' characters. Then the character on the left serves for the start of the first and third game and the team on the right serves for the second game. Ball server switches to the other after two serves. To serve, the player must swing the Wii Remote twice or wait until it does it automatically. Though, failing to do it the second time results in the other person scoring. To swing, the player needs to swing the Wii Remote. Eventually, the character glows. When this happens, they get a chance to do a Special Smash using the {{Button|Wii|B}} button. If the ball goes past the character, the other side gets a point. If the ball does not hit the table, the other team gets a point as well. Points continue until one team gets the set number of points. However, if both players have at least the set number of points minus one, it will be called a deuce. When this happens, one player must get two points to win. But, after enough deuces (e.g. 8 points for 5 points), it becomes game or match point for both. If there are multiple rounds, it goes to the second round after the first round, and the third round if both players have won a game. After a match, the announcer announces the winner or how the player did.

The Super Smasher challenge is achieved by scoring a point with a Special Smash a number of times in this event. The criteria for unlocking each achievement are as follows:
*Lv. 1- Score 5 points with Special Smashes
*Lv. 2- Score 10 points with Special Smashes
*Lv. 3- Score 15 points with Special Smashes
