|align=left|Helibird Nest is the first area of the Strawberry Kingdom. The level takes place in a rainforest canopy with many tall trees and vines. Assisted by his Helper Monkey friends and his vine swinging abilities, Donkey Kong makes it through a portion of this level. He meets his third new Jungle Buddy, Helibird, here as well. With Helibird's flying abilities, Donkey Kong travels high in the sky and reaches the end of the level. At the end of this level, DK meets a Big Bee, who must be defeated for him to find the giant strawberry at the end of the level.

|align=left|Spirit Tree is the second area of the Strawberry Kingdom. Donkey Kong has to climb inside this large tree. The tree's interior consists of many vines, Banandelions, and Helper Monkeys, which can be combined with the ape's Wall Jump abilities to score many beats. Near the end of the stage, Helibirds carry Donkey Kong through the rest of the level. While in flight, a plant shoots bananas at Donkey Kong, allowing him to increase his beat count.

|align=left|In the GameCube version, Donkey Kong has to face Mo-Hog, a Rogue-Hog lookalike, but with a lighter skin tone and grey hair. The battle will take place in a forest-like setting, with a large tree in the background. It attacks by throwing electrified coconuts at regular and high speeds at DK. When it reaches half health, it will gain the ability to leap in the air, store energy, and then unleash it by flying right at him and swiping its hoofed hand. When defeated, it, too, will fall unconscious, allowing slight amounts of electricity to stream out of its body.

|align=left|In the New Play Control! version, Donkey Kong must face Fleet Roc, a Scruff Roc lookalike with blue feathers and a blue neck and head. The battle takes place on a similar area to the Scruff Roc battle, but with a ledge in the middle of the course and two Helper Monkeys on each end of the stage. Fleet Roc attacks by using strong winds to blow Donkey Kong away and shooting sharpened feathers at him. It can be stunned by hitting the egg it carries, and can then be attacked by headbutting the egg several times. When Fleet Roc is at three hundred health, it will begin to attack by shooting a blue meteor at Donkey Kong three times. When defeated, the egg it carries will shatter to pieces, and Fleet Roc will explode soon after.
