'''Stage 3-4''' is the fourth level of the [[Ship]] in the [[Game Boy]] version of ''[[Donkey Kong (Game Boy)|Donkey Kong]]''. This stage is the first encounter with [[Donkey Kong]] on the Ship.
==Layout==
[[Mario]] starts on a platform above spikes where he must be aware of the [[Thwomp Platform]] just above the platform he is on and if goes left while it's still falling he will get crushed so he needs to be careful. Mario needs to open the gate leading to [[Pauline]] and Donkey Kong so he has to wait until the moving platforms are in the right place so he can jump onto either one to ride it, then he must jump over to more moving platforms then jump over to the non-moving platform where he must then climb up the first [[ladder]] then climb up the second ladder then [[Handstand Jump]] up to the higher platform then change the [[switch (Donkey Kong)|switch]] so it activates the bridge that will block the two Thwomp Platforms so Mario can go across the [[Conveyor Belt]] safely then once across he has to wait until Donkey Kong changes the leaver so it opens the gate then Mario can get to the leaver to change it so it opens the gate leading to Pauline, then Mario has to make it back safely. Once back there Mario can ride the moving platforms and if the bridge is activated he can jump up to higher platform once the Thwomp Platform is out of the way or he can ride the Thwomp Platform once it falls up to the top. Once at the top Mario must simply head right to end the level with Donkey Kong taking Pauline away again.

==Cutscene after level completion==
Donkey Kong runs and jumps up to a higher ledge, then puts Pauline down and happily jumps up and down as he thinks Mario cannot reach him. Mario, right behind him, tries to reach the ledge with his normal jump but fails. Mario then backs up and prepares to [[Handstand Jump]] up to the ledge; Donkey Kong, realizing this, grabs Pauline and continues running while Mario reaches the ledge and continues to give chase. The player is then given lives based of their score.
