Immediately after initiating this attack, many bombs fall into Luigi. Hit 3ds to pass the bombs to Mario, and press 3ds to hit the bomb toward the enemies, which will explode on contact. If delayed, any remaining bombs will explode and Bros. Attack will end. If Mario fails to hit the bomb, the bomb will continue to bounce and gets out of sight.

The design of the bomb is similar to the bombs used by Lemmy Koopa in New Super Mario Bros. U.
