Unlike [[Stilt Guy]]s, Shy Guys on Pogo Sticks do not need to be dismounted from their rides to be attacked and thus can be defeated by throwing a [[Yoshi's Egg|Yoshi egg]] at the exposed Shy Guys or [[swallow]]ing them. Also, much like with normal Shy Guys, the color of the rider can be changed by [[Ground Pound|ground-pound]]ing near it.
