'''Rumble Fishing''' is a 4-Player [[minigame]] appearing in ''[[Super Mario Party]]''. The setting of the minigame is similar to that of [[World 6-1 (Super Mario 3D Land)|World 6-1]] and other seaside-themed [[level]]s from ''[[Super Mario 3D Land]]''. Its name is shared with an [[Rumble Fishing (Mario Party 4)|earlier Battle minigame]] from ''[[Mario Party 4]]'', which in turn takes the name from the title of the book ''{{wp|Rumble Fish (novel)|Rumble Fish}}'' by {{wp|S. E. Hinton}}.

==Introduction==
Several [[Dragoneel]]s emerge and subsequently submerge. All of the players then float down on [[Lakitu's Cloud]]s, holding fishing rods. The minigame then starts.

==Gameplay==

Players ride Lakitu's Clouds and are over a large body of water filled with Dragoneels underneath. The Dragoneels cause several ripples in the water. Players can hover over the ripples to check how powerful a rumble is. Stronger rumbles indicate longer and larger Dragoneels. Players can claim a Dragoneel by shaking the [[Nintendo Switch#Joy-Con|Joy-Con]] when the water is rippling. The player with the longest Dragoneel wins the game.

On the Challenge Road, this is the 12th challenge of [[Mushroom Beach]] and the 33rd challenge overall. The challenge features a completely different target compared to normal gamplay: The player must quickly find one Dragoneel in five seconds for the normal challenge, or three seconds for the Master Challenge.
