'''Ruffin' Tumbles''' are round bird-like enemies that appear in ''[[Yoshi's Woolly World]]'' and ''[[Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World]]''. They are very similar to [[Bowling Goonie]]s from ''[[Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island]]'' and appear in World 3-2, [[Wobble Mobile Jaunt]]. In ''Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World'', they also appear in the [[Poochy Dash]] level [[Stitchy Scramble]]. In this level, one of the missions is to stomp Ruffin' Tumbles ten times. Like Bowling Goonies, they are found rolling along the ground and can hurt [[Yoshi]] if he touches one from the side. By bouncing on top of them and holding down the jump button while [[Flutter Jump]]ing, however, Yoshi can ascend much higher than normal, which is necessary to clear the level. A patch variant of Ruffin' Tumbles, [[Ruffin' Tumble Patch]]es, are also found in the same level. They act the same as normal ones, except that they need to be unravelled from their patch to be used.
