The team consists of three [[Hyper Bald Cleft]]s, including the team's presumed leader, [[Cleftor]]. [[Goombella]] recommends that [[Mario]] have some items beforehand, as they are rock-hard and impervious to fire. The team name is a pun on the type of music, {{wp|punk rock}}.

The Punk Rocks are ranked 12th in the Glitz Pit, being one of the top fighting groups of the Minor League division.
