This level serves as an introduction to the [[Flower Fan]]s, which can carry the player and various objects across different portions of the level. In the first area, the player is blocked off from the key by a red Flower Fan, and must use the blue [[Color Switch]] just above to toggle it and reach the key, which they can ferry across other Flower Fans in the vicinity towards the locked door. After toggling the blue ladder, the player can unlock the door and proceed to the next area.
This level serves as an introduction to the [[Flower Fan]]s, which can carry Mario and the [[key]] across different portions of the level. In the first area, Mario is blocked off from the key by a red Flower Fan, and must use the blue [[Color Switch]] just above to toggle it and reach the key, which he can ferry across other Flower Fans in the vicinity towards the locked door. After toggling the blue ladder, he can unlock the door and proceed to the next area.

In the second area, the player starts off at the top left, and must navigate through a maze of [[Donut Block]]s and [[Color Block]]s to reach the blue Color Switch, guarded by a [[Shy Guy]]. Once the switch is activated, the player can eventually drop down to the bottom and use the now-activated blue Flower Fan to float to the [[Mini-Mario]].
