'''Goombas vs. Goombas''' is the eighth level as well as the boss level of [[Hoohoo Mountain]] in the ''Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser'' mode in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions]]''.

==Overview==
After some marching, [[Captain Goomba (Mario & Luigi series)|Captain Goomba]] and his squad confront [[Fawful]], who has [[Bowser]] and plans to take him away with him. However, the captain doesn't allow this, and he angrily demands that Fawful hand over Bowser, when [[Private Goomp]] barges in and attempts to interfere in Fawful's plan. However, Fawful shrugs them off and brainwashes Private Goomp with his headgear smoke, but not before the captain realizes that those minions with the spirit of a true minion can successfully fight back against the power of the smoke. A fierce battle ensues, with Captain Goomba outdueling Private Goomp and ensuring his squad wins the battle. After the battle, the captain confronts Fawful, who taunts the Goomba that he will work Bowser to dust and mention that he needs to hurry to the castle to retrieve the [[Beanstar]], and Fawful proceeds to shoot Captain Goomba and his squad out and down the mountain.

Captain Goomba wakes up at the top of [[Hoohoo Village]], where he finds a couple of buildings and a [[Hoohooligan]]. He asks the Hoohooligan where the castle is, and the latter replies that it is at the base of the mountain. The adventurous and upstart captain proceeds to jump all the way down to the base, and gets ready to storm the castle and take back Bowser with his growing squad of minions.
