After crossing a bridge he encounters a [[Piranha Plant|Wild Piranha]], beyond which, Yoshi has to swim through water. After traversing another small area, Yoshi enters the water again to reach some steep descending steps and the [[Checkpoint Ring|Middle Ring]] thereafter.
