A '''floatie virus''' is a type of [[virus]] from ''[[Dr. Mario World]]''. Introduced in [[World 3 (Dr. Mario World)|World 3]], they are viruses inside floats. When a color [[capsule]] matches the color of the floatie virus or that it is eliminated, the floatie virus will move to a different part of the stage, where depending on the stage they may have a preference in where they will move to.
