In this event, the player starts by swinging down the Wii Remote when "Start!" appears onscreen. Doing so with perfect timing will give the player a speed boost when starting, however doing so too early will cause the player to perform a slower, later start. The characters can gain a speed boost and start their jump higher if the player swings upwards with perfect timing, but will lose speed and altitude if they swing too early or late.
