'''[[pikipedia:Planet of the Pikmin|Distant Planet]]''' is the name of [[Captain Olimar]]'s home stage in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' which later appears in ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U|Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS]]''. The stage is set on the planet that Captain Olimar landed on in ''[[pikipedia:Pikmin (game)|Pikmin]]''.

It takes place on a group of leaves, vines, and a hillside, in reference to the natural terrain of ''Pikmin''. [[Pellet|Pellet Posies]] regularly grow out of the ground, and when attacked they drop their pellets, which can be tossed at opponents for light damage. However, their main purpose is to be thrown at an Onion when one flies down on the stage to get [[items]]. Onions can also be attacked, after three hits it will fly back up. Onions also fly back up after a minute. Occasionally it will start to rain, which makes the steep hillside treacherous, since water will rapidly flow down and sweep players off the stage. The other main hazard is a Red Bulborb that sometimes appears on the right side of the stage, and eat any player that jumps near it, then dragging them offstage for a KO. Even when its mouth is closed, landing on it could result in a KO if it decides to go back off the stage with a player on its back.

In the background of the stage, a Red Bulborb, a [[pikipedia:Cloaking Burrow-nit|Cloaking Burrow-nit]], a large toppled over soda can, and a flower resembling a [[pikipedia:Creeping Chrysanthemum|Creeping Chrysanthemum]] or [[pikipedia:Margaret|Margaret]] in one of the pots is seen.
