It is on a diagonal rail stretching from near the [[Mother Penguin]] at the bottom up to near where the head portion of the [[Headless Snowman]] is. In the middle of its range is a small floating island with a [[Bob-omb Buddy]], as well as a [[Star Switch]] in the remake. The chairlift always starts at the bottom, moving only once [[Mario]], [[Yoshi]], [[Luigi]], or [[Wario]] lands on it and stopping again after it returns to the bottom if he has left it.

They were run by the [[forebear]] of [[The Enigmansion]] before his passing, and are rendered operational again when Mario uses the [[Paperize]] ability on the forebear's portrait, bringing it to life. While riding it, Mario can swing back and forth to collect coins and avoid the [[Fuzzy|Fuzzies]] that drop from the rails. [[Luigi]] can be seen riding one in the background at one point, and can be plucked out via Paperization.
