'''Burning Tide''' is the hidden sixth mission of the [[Melty Molten Galaxy]] in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]''. This mission takes place during the [[The Sinking Lava Spire|first mission]].
==Layout==
The player needs to proceed through the mission as normal until they reach the first large glass sphere, collecting as many [[Star Bit]]s as they can when doing so. On the first glass sphere planet, the player will find a [[Hungry Luma]] who asks the player to feed him a total of 80 Star Bits. If the conditions are met, the Hungry Luma will transform into a new planet, with a Pink [[Launch Star]] appear to send the player to it. 

The new planet has [[lava]] rise and lower all around it, with the lighter ground areas signifying where the lava does not reach. Placed along the paths of the planet are five [[Silver Star]]s the player has to collect while avoiding the rising lava and enemies. Once all five Silver Stars are collected, the [[Power Star]] will appear.
