The player has to first make it to the back center platform with the Big Bully on it. From the start of the level, the player needs to take the left path at each split, then follow the platforms to the square platform with the Big Bully on it. To defeat the Big Bully, the player has to push it into the lava, with each attack pushing it backward. The Big Bully attempts to do the same to the player character. When the Big Bully is shoved into the lava, it sinks and the Power Star appears on a tall black platform nearby. Stairs appear to help the player up, but the stairs fall when the player jumps onto them. | The player has to first make it to the back center platform with the Big Bully on it. ==Trivia==
In the Nintendo 64 version of Super Mario 64, there is a small orange square on Bowser's left ankle. The rings around the horns and spikes of the Bowser image are also yellow. This is later brought in all of the ports of the game (bar the Super Mario 3D All-Stars version). In the Super Mario 3D All-Stars version of Super Mario 64, the small orange square on Bowser's left ankle has been removed. Also, the rings around the horns and spikes of the Bowser image were also changed from yellow to brown similar to his current appearance.
