At the top of the first set of ruins rests a [[Bird (Super Mario Sunshine)#Gold Bird|Gold Bird]] on a tree. As [[Mario]] gets near it, it will fly away and begin circling the area. The player needs to spray the bird until it drops the [[Shine Sprite]].
