The head all the way on the right doesn't shoot fireballs.

Tryclyde is a hydra-like, three headed snake. Red in color for the NES, green for the SNES. Two of its heads shoot fireballs at the player. It's the boss of World 2 and 6 in Super Mario Bros. 2, and only World 2 of Super Mario Advance.

In his chamber are a pile of Mushroom Blocks and usually a Tweeter. The player has to throw them at Tryclyde to win. For a defense strategy, stack the fireproof blocks in a column, and throw the extras over the wall.

Due to the original red coloring of Tryclyde, it is assumed by many that he is either an adult Cobrat, or a Cobrat who has been transformed by King Wart's magic (as Clawgrip is shown to be in Super Mario Advance).
