A trophy, won in a Trophy Race.

A Trophy Race (Also called a Trophy Challenge) is a challenge in the game, Diddy Kong Racing and its remake, Diddy Kong Racing DS. After beating a world in Diddy Kong Racing, the player may do the challenge. Like in the Mario Kart series, he/she must race in four different courses. After playing in one, the player will get a certain amount of points depending on his/her placing. The player with the most points wins. However, it's important to point out that the player can't restart a track that he/she is doing poorly in; he/she must do the whole Trophy Race all over again if that's the case.

If the player wins, he/she will be awarded with a golden trophy with Wizpig on top. There are five Trophy Races in all; the fifth one is accessible once the player wins the second Wizpig race. On a side note, the silver and bronze trophies have a statue of Taj on them.

In Diddy Kong Racing DS, instead of winning a Wizpig trophy every time, the player will get different themed trophies depending on what world he/she is in.
