They are among the more powerful creatures inhabiting the area, being able to poison foes or turn them into Scarecrows. In battle, Spinthras never appear with other members of their own kind, but are often times assisted by Geckits or Kriffids.
Spinthras resemble a weaker enemy named Arachne, which they are probably related to.
