Template:Smrpgenemy Spinthras are large tarantula-like creatures which inhabit Land's End in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They are among the more powerful creatures inhabiting the area, being able to poison foes or turn them into Scarecrows. In battle, Spinthras never appear with other members of their own kind, but are often times assisted by Geckits or Kriffids.
Spinthras are the more powerful palette swap of the Arachne.
