They are the weakest Piranha Plants in the game, though in Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario the ordinary Piranha Plants are the weakest of their species. Interestingly, the ordinary Piranha Plants from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door are the strongest of their species, having very high Attack power and only living in the Pit of 100 Trials.
