The level is designed as an onslaught of enemies attacking Mario and Yoshi. Once the duo made it past the enemies, they encountered a split in the path. It did not matter which path they took, since both led to the same road. At the end of Mushroom Land, Mario and Yoshi encountered [[Ludwig von Koopa]] in a mechanical robot. Mushroom Land is the second level of Yoshi's Safari. It is located in the Light Realm of Jewelry Land. As the name implies, Mushroom Land is full of mushrooms. It can be accessed once Mario and Yoshi complete Grassland. Common enemies and obstacles in Mushroom Land include Koopa Troopas, Goombas, Nipper Plants, Green Shells, and fireballs. The level is designed as an onslaught of enemies attacking Mario and Yoshi. Once the duo made it past the enemies, they encountered a split in the path. It did not matter which path they took, since both led to the same road. At the end of Mushroom Land, Mario and Yoshi encountered Ludwig von Koopa in a mechanical robot.
