A Jean de Fillet.
Not to be confused with Fishbone

Jean de Fillet is a skeleton fish that lives in both water and lava. It only appears in three levels of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. This undead fish is at the very end of Tap-Tap the Red Nose's fortress, underwater in World 4's extra level, The Impossible? Maze, and World 4's secret level , End of World Yoshi's.

Jean de Fillets stick their heads out of the water or lava, then jump out. They can be defeated with a well timed egg.
