Not to be confused with Fishbone, Jean de Fillet is a skeleton fish that lives in both water and lava. It only appears in two levels of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. This undead fish is at the very end of Tap-Tap the Red Nose's fortress, and underwater in World 4's extra level, The Impossible? Maze.
Jean de Fillets stick their heads out of the water, then jump out. They can be defeated with a well timed egg.
Other notes
- It's possible that Jean de Fillets are the undead forms of Flopsy Fish.
- Jean is a French name, and fillet is a boneless slice of meat.
