“...Now for your next challenge. You must defeat me!”
Hoohooros, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga

Template:MLinfobox Hoohooros is the ancient stone guardian of Hoohoo Mountain, in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. He was built by the ancient Hoohooligan civilization.

When Mario and Luigi met Hoohooros, the stone idol tested the brothers' ability to use the Spin Jump technique through a timed mini-game, the goal of which was to get 10 glowing energy balls within the time limit (30 seconds) and without falling onto the ground. The Mario brothers easily completed the challenge, but they had to fight the stone guardian himself. During battle, Hoohooros hides behind large stone pillars to evade the Mario Bros' attacks, and fires laser beams at the plumbers. The heros must attack the pillar that Hoohooros isn't in then attack the one Hoohooros is in. Hooroos will be shocked. Also he will stay out in the open but he will do an attack that requires the brother to jump one after the other. After being defeated, Hoohooros opened a new path for the Mario brothers to continue their journey.

Hoohooros apparently speaks the ancient language of Hooroglyphy.
