Green Hill Zone

Green Hill Zone is an area (and the first level) in the non-Mario game Sonic the Hedgehog. The Green Hill Zone however also has made an appearance in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. In the "Gallery" section of the game, one of the two backgrounds for the Count Master mini-game is the Green Hill Zone. The other background is a background of the Mushroom Kingdom from New Super Mario Bros.. The Green Hill Zone appeared in the second, fourth and final level of the Count Master game. Background music of the Green Hill Zone can be optionably be heard in the game, once it has been unlocked.

The Green Hill Zone will also be appearing in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a stage. It will appear as both a normal stage and as a Subspace Emissary stage. Sonic was seen running through this stage in a video.
