In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, the Official Guide from Nintendo Power describes how the Yoshi series has different enemy classes. Of those, one of them is Edibilis Boringus. Enemies in the class Edibilis Boringus are simple, and made to provide a Yoshi with enough eggs to defeat tougher foes. Common examples of these enemies include Shy Guys, Nipper Plants, Lantern Ghosts, Mildes, and Koopas. It is a hard to read way of saying 'Edible is boring us"
