The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.
A Thwompy Bone is a species of Thwomp that acts as a bone in Bowser's body in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. They appear throughout the Pump Works. Thwompy Bones are more of an obstacle than an enemy, blocking Mario and Luigi's path. If Bowser drinks water, Thwompy Bones will float, allowing the plumbers to proceed. This enemy reappears later in the Airway, but they are shorter, and plumper. They are used as stepping stones to access higher ground.
