History

Super Mario series

Super Mario World

The Big Boo is a hidden boss found in the Secret Donut Plains Ghost House.[1] He has two normal Boos accompany him in battle. Big Boo flys at Mario or Luigi to injure him when he is visible, so Mario has to throw a Grab Block at him to defend himself. Once hurt, he will be invicible, moving somewhere else and reappear. The Big Boo could be defeated by throwing Grab Blocks at his face three times and will lose against Mario.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3

The Big Boo reappear in the GBA remake of Super Mario Bros. 3, again as a boss who Mario has to fight against. He appears only in the e-reader's scanned level Doors o' Plenty. where he plays the exact same role to that of Super Mario World.
