The Beanstar is the Star of the Beanbean Kingdom in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. It grants wishes, but it can only be awakened by someone with a pure voice. Since Princess Peach is the only one remaining with such a voice, Cackletta captures her and uses her voice to awaken the Beanstar. However, Queen Bean and Prince Peasley knew of this plan, told Toadsworth and Princess Peach and Prince Peasley used magic to disguise a Birdo as the princess. When Cackletta used Birdo's voice on the Beanstar, it became angry and shattered into four pieces, which had to be recovered by Mario and Luigi. A Fake Beanstar was used to trick Cackletta so the Mario Bros. would keep the original, but was easily seen through. The four Beanstar pieces can be found in Gwarhar Lagoon, Harhall's Studio, Yoshi Theater, and Chucklehuck Woods.
Locations of Pieces
- The piece in Harhall's Studio is the easiest to get. The brothers must help Harhall design new clothes in a minigame. Harhall gives his Bean Star piece as an award.
