The Apple sprite from Paper Mario.

Apples are a cheap item only found in Boo's Mansion in Paper Mario. One is able to find Apples by simply Spin Jumping on various crates in the cellar of the mansion. They heal 5 HP, but are better put to use in cooking. Only a limited number could be found in the game, making them extremely rare. If a player wished to complete the recipies, strategic thinking was required. In Yoshi's Story, an apple is a Red Yoshi and Pink Yoshi's favorite fruit, along with Melons.
