At the Super Mario Wiki, Featured Images are those quality, intriguing, witty, provocative, rare, important, and otherwise simply interesting images that can be found throughout the site's articles. Users are encouraged to submit and vote on nominations for the Featured Image displayed on the Main Page. Every week (on Thursdays at 17:00 EST), a new image is selected to be featured. This is done by subtracting the number of oppose votes from the number of support votes in each nomination - the image with the most "points" at the end of the week will be featured. Any image with a negative amount of points at the end of a week (that is a nomination with a majority of opposes) is removed from the selection process. The only condition for nominated images is that they must be in an actual mainspace article on the wiki. No personal images or images from non-mainspace pages are allowed. New image nominations can be added to the Featured Image Nominations section below.

- Yes, but visitors should be able to enlarge the image on the main page. When you hover over it, it even reads, "Click for a larger image." When users do that they'll see a pixelated image, which is bad. Time Q (talk)

- Well, I don't know why (and yet even I said he was weird), but he looks like a total maniac snowman and some people (preferably Luigi fans) don't like to seem him like a snowman, or ball, or....yeah and I don't like Luigi getting, say, "owned." - Nah, it's just high quality. And that's just a generic spaceship from Neon Heights. I would like this picture more if it weren't used as boxart. And Mario and Luigi look strange with that white outline around them. BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)

The lights all look spectacular around the background, too! Also, the picture is MASSIVE, and even covers those stupid advertisements XD! Just a great picture!
- BabyLuigiOnFire (talk) Ooh, pretty lights! Anyway, colorful image and pretty large, plus high qualiy. The only concern is the lighting. Did and Dix look makes it look like the picture is taking place in the daytime, buuuut the unique image and the lights make up for that.

- BabyLuigiOnFire (talk) Ok, so nominating this was NOT my idea (guy who nominated BiS inspired me) but this has some notable differences between BiS (other than the obvious ones, obviously). This is less faded, bigger, absence of ugly borders and has action in it. The only concerns is what the pasta happened to Yellow Toad and there's less characters. Otherwise, I nominated for the same reasons Baby Mario Bloops gave out; it's the actual, authentic drawing from the creator himself!!
