Yux

Yuxes are x shaped creatures that were created by X-Naut PhD and can create Mini-Yuxes to create barriers around him. They appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They are first encountered in the Great Tree where they are used as security by the X-Nauts. Later they appear on the X-Naut Fortress on the Moon, but are less in number here.

Trivia

• Yuxes might be Bloopers that were chemically altered by X-Naut PhDs in the X-Naut Fortress.

• There is one room in the X-Naut Fortress with Yuxes being created in it. There is an experimental red and green one that might be called a Christmas Yux or a W-Yux.

• Creatures somewhat similar to, and maybe even related to Yuxes, called Barribads, appear in the game Super Paper Mario.

• Also in Super Paper Mario there is a Sammer Guy called Yowling Yux.
