The Armored Harriers (a.k.a. The Iron Adonis Twins) are two Iron Clefts that appear in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
The Armored Harriers were ranked 10th in the Glitzville's Glitz Pit. The Armored Harriers harbored a huge grudge against Mario (or rather, the Great Gonzales) after Grubba told them some rather nasty trash talks that he accredited to Mario (namely the reference to outies running in the family, since their mother apparently had an outie.) The pair are made of iron that Mario cannot break through, and only with the help of Yoshi, who is able to take an enemy into his mouth with his tongue and spit them back at the other enemy, was Mario able to defeat these two Iron Clefts. One of them wears red shoes, while the other wears green shoes, implying that the former is older. This type of red and green symbolism appears often in the Mario series.
After Mario and his friends beat the Armored Harriers, the two warriors were downgraded to the Minor League. They formed a grudge against Mario, and attempted revenge by ambushing the plumber after he duelled the Tiny Spinies. Although weakened and surprised, Mario defeated the Armored Harriers a second time.
When Mario had to visit the Minor League locker room while searching for the Dubious Paper, the Armored Harriers became very upset.
Despite the twin's grudge against Mario they, along with Jolene, King K., Rawk Hawk and a few others cheer him on in his battle against the Shadow Queen.

- That's the older of the Iron Adonis Twins. You can tell he's older by his red shoes. I don't think they took their loss to you too well, Mario. I'd be careful around them...
- That's the younger of the Iron Adonis Twins. He and his brother totally hate you. Is it a rule that older brothers wear red shoes and younger brothers wear green?
Trivia
- Despite the fact that only the Yoshi Kid's Gulp move can be used to Defeat the two, they are only ranked tenth meaning that everyone over the tenth rank can defeat them.
