Layout

This level features brightly colored rotating blocks that must be used to climb to higher locations. Rolling Spike Balls, Dry Bones, and Amps are some of the hazards that must be avoided as the floor scrolls upward. The last half of this level resembles Castle Crush, a level found in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. At the end of the tower, Lemmy Koopa is found balancing on a yellow ball in an icy arena. The player(s) must attempt to defeat him while avoiding the yellow balls that Lemmy conjures otherwise they have the risk of being pushed off the level. Lemmy will also spin in his shell trying to hit the player(s) when hit. Like most other bosses, Lemmy must be hit three times to be defeated.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: At the top of the second rotating block, there is a hidden door at the ledge on the right. Use the tip of the block to reach it. Through the door there is a rotating Ball'n'Chain. The Star Coin is at the highest point inside the block.
  • Star Coin 2: This coin is difficult to reach. After the checkpoint, there is an ascending yellow platform with many Dry Bones and spike balls, and also two POW blocks. The player may activate the first POW Block they come across to get rid of the Dry Bones and, if the player wants, the first two spike balls. But they must not activate the second POW Block yet as the spike balls are required to break down the wall enclosing the Star Coin at the top. After the walls are broken down, they may activate the POW block and collect the Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 3: This Star Coin is located just before the boss door. Wall jump from the tip of the blue rotating block to get the Star Coin.
