The Mini Mushroom is a variety of mushroom found in the Mushroom Kingdom. Whoever uses it will shrink greatly in size, becoming as tiny as a mouse. The Mini Mushroom debuted in Mario Party 4, where it let the player enter small pipes that could not normally be accessed.
They recently reappeared in New Super Mario Bros., where they shrunk Mario's size greatly and yet again gave him the ability to enter tiny Warp Pipes. He also gained the abilities to perform hovering jumps and run across water, thanks to his very light weight.
