Attack FX badges are a series of badges that Mario can wear in the Paper Mario series, specifically the first two games: Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They change the sound effects of Mario's jump and hammer attacks to various noises and tunes.

In Paper Mario[edit]

The badges in Paper Mario are as follows. They are named after the first few letters of the English alphabet, and are first made available (but don’t have to be acquired) in that order.

An unobtainable Attack FX F exists (with four duplicates of itself) in the game data.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door[edit]

The badges in The Thousand-Year Door are as follows. Their letter this time corresponds to the color of the badge. Each color corresponds to 5 of the 6 complementary colors of the RYB color model.

Names in other languages[edit]

Language Name Meaning
