Hint movies
Hint Movies in the castle.

Hint Movies are special movies that give the players hints in the game New Super Mario Bros. Wii. These hint movies are found in Princess Peach's Castle. However these movies aren't free. The player must pay Star Coins to watch them. These movies are run by Toad. After using a 1-up house, the player will get a message to visit the castle and watch hint movies. This however is optional. Some examples of hint movies are Super Skills, Infinite 1-Ups, and Secret Exits.

In Super Mario Galaxy 2 a similar concept called the Tip Network appears. These however are free.
