The Form Stones are major objects featured in WarioWare: Move It! They are stones in the form of Nintendo Switch Joy-Con used as the control method for the entire game, equivalent to the Form Baton and the Balance Stone from WarioWare: Smooth Moves.
Forms
Like in WarioWare: Smooth Moves, the Form Stones are held in a variety of forms, which dictate how microgames are played.[1][2]
Choo Choo
In-game text
- English
The Voice from above speaks:
"Hold your Form Stones in your hands, keep your arms close to your sides, and bend your elbows at a right angle. Your thumbs must be on top."
The Voice saw that the people were unready and had them brace themselves for anything. This is the origin of Choo Choo, a Form to survive an absurd endeavor.[3]
- Japanese
- Script
"ニギリ持ちをしたまま、脇を締め、肘を直角に曲げよ。親指をうえにするのだ。"
と神様はおっしゃいました。
神様は迷える人々を並べて紐で囲い、先頭に立ってを導きになりました。これが『シュッポッポ』の起源であり、すべてのカマエの始まりでもあります。
- Romanization
"Nigiri mochi o shita mama, waki o shime, hiji o chokkaku ni mage yo. Oyayubi o ue ni suru noda."
To kamisama wa osshaimashita.
Kamisama wa mayoeru hitobito o narabete himo de kakoi, sentō ni tatte o michibiki ni narimashita. Korega "shuppoppo" no kigendeari, subete no kamae no hajimari demo arimasu.
Translation
"While maintaining a Grip Hold, tighten your sides and bend your elbows at a right angle. Keep your thumbs up top."
This is what the Voice has said.
The Voice lined up those who were lost and surrounded them with ropes, and stood in front of them to guide them. This is the origin of "Choo Choo," as well as the basis of all Forms.

The Voice from above speaks:
"Perform a Grip Hold with the palms of your hands to your hips, thumbs forward. Then puff out your chest."
This was a Form initially reserved for royals. One day, a king did the Big Cheese in public. It spread quickly amongst the people. And as such, they're all a little cheesy.

"Perform a Grip Hold with your dominant hand over your shoulder, thumb facing down. The other hand's palm is at your waist. Its thumb should face forward."
This Form is very popular...and flattering. The Voice was not immune to its charms and would often show off this Form from several angles, asking which was its good side.
- Japanese
- Script
"ニギリ持ちをしたまま、利き手を肩のうえにかまえ、もう片方の手のひらを腰に当てよ。利き手は親指をしたにするのだ。"
と神様はおっしゃいました。
その姿形から人気の高いカマエです。神様もその魅力に取り憑かれ、このカマエをしたまま、夜ごと民家の屋根の上を駆け回るっていたといいます。
- Romanization
"Nigiri mochi o shita mama, kikite o kata no ue ni kamae, mō katahō no tenohira o koshi ni ate yo. Kikite wa oyayubi o shita ni suru noda."

Translation
"Perform a Grip Hold, then place your dominant hand over your shoulder and the other hand on your hip. Your dominant hand's thumb should face down."
This is what the Voice has said.
This Form is popular due to its appearance. Even the Voice was fascinated by its charm, for every night it would run across the roofs of the people's homes while performing this Form.

The Voice from above speaks:
"Place the Form Stones on a flat surface. You don't need to crouch. The front sides should face up. Do not remove the straps."
See the Form Stones enjoying a respite from human hands. Little do they know that the silent calm is about to be broken by the people's revels.
