Frogogs are large, green, lean, muscular frog monsters that predominantly live in Bandit's Way but also reside in the Pipe Vault. They always fights alongside other monsters, including Goombas, Spikeys, Sky Troopas, and K-9s. Frogogs are one of the most powerful monsters in the early stages of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. In battle, they attack by biting Mario’s part members. Additionally, Frogogs sometimes attack by shooting bubbles at their enemies. To be defeated, Frogogs need to be attacked many times (unlike many early enemies, which one need to be attacked once or twice before they are destroyed).
Since Frogogs are amphibians, too much direct sunlight to their skin can be dangerous to their health.
Additionally, Frogogs are relatives of Ribbites.
