I have learned Beefne's Real name is Cave Master from Mariomonsters.com User:Mecha-Boss Unit

Beefne is the real name confirmed by both Japanese sources and the German Club Nintendo magazine. The Cave Master is a boss in WL2 (source of this name is the game's English version) who loosely resembles Beefne.
